Hanahana Beauty
Hanahana Beauty is a an all natural, hand-crafted, ethical skincare brand with the mission of empowering women of color and increasing transparency within the beauty industry. I worked for the brand as a designer from January 2021 - July 2021, creating social, print, and digital designs.
Curlbox
Curlbox was a monthly subscription service that delivered full-sized products for naturally curly hair, offering an affordable way to try new products. In 2022, I led the re-brand design introducing a modern aesthetic to attract a Gen-Z audience. I incorporated design elements inspired by the natural hair-care journey and infused vibrant color into the branding to appeal to a younger audience.
Owning the Block
Founded by Karleen Roy of The Vanity Group, Owning the Block is a career empowerment experience for Millennials & Gen Z'ers in Memphis. I was tasked with creating a more modern aesthetic for the 2022 event, creating the branding, print, and experiential design elements.
Skintellect
Skintellect is a Black beauty marketplace designed to encourage the discovery of Black-owned clean beauty brands. I designed the brand identity and social, creating a classic logo lockup.
8th & Furman
8th & Furman is a global management agency representing a curated group of diverse multi-hyphenate creatives. I designed the brand identity, social, and website, using bold type and photography to compliment the simplicity of the color palette.
NYCxStudio
NYCxStudio is a social agency created by an influencer duo to give influencers of color a space for content creation and a platform to amplify their content. Christy & Shelcy reached out to me to create event flyer social designs, inspired by their vintage and traditional aesthetic, I created designs to match their aesthetic.
